Sending it through the Bronx this afternoon
I went through the Bronx once, but that was because I missed my exit.
I can't imagine doing it intentionally.

Moving on, NY needs to stop that HUT sticker, I know they did for a few years and then they brought it back.
NY has a sticker and then every jurisdiction wants a sticker. Rather than a big ugly sticker, do we go back to bingo card plates?

@Mike Did you fall and hit your head?
Maria is with me, she has never been there and wanted to go. We were in Carlisle this week stealing freight from @Electric Chicken and I found a load out of Delaware going to Maine.

Wasn’t too bad, actually better than I expected. Hasn’t been there in probably more than 20 years.

It's okay I don't go to NY. No HUT stickers on my truck.

Heck I've been almost 100% intrastate lately barely leaving PA.

Rear trailer landing gear.

Hadn't even heard of that till I seen it in action yesterday.

Moved out of my dock so hombre could move in.
Partially saw him walk to back of trailer chocking the wheels. Then saw him bend over and hear a hissing air release sound.

I'm like, why is he letting air out of his tires. Lol

He went in, and out of curiosity I walk back there and see the landing gear was being lowered.

Who knew?

Most of our landolls have these hydraulic legs between two of the axles to pick the deck up to dock height. Alternatively, you can run the axles forward just out of the pockets and that's enough but if not the legs are there. They also come in handy if you gotta work on the trailer.

It most likely adds some stability to the rear of the trailer with the forklift running in and out.

Plus, unless the system is charged and the landing gear raised, the next dummy can't just drag it away from the dock.

Sounds awesome. Especially for a live load without disconnecting. Put both sets down and it wouldn't rock you.

In Phoenix, delivery to Pepsi at 0500 tomorrow.

Park at the J, open up the app this evening to check the shower situation.

26 in line. Guess that’s not happening tonight.

Was also going to get my parking receipt to put in the door. Walk inside, the lines are wrapped around every isle with people waiting to buy something. Guess I won’t be putting one of those in the window…..

The truck stops around here are so awesome, lol.

It's about 10:30 pm Central Standard "Midwest" Time wondering how I am gonna "Survive" tomorrow

Now the first few ain't so Bad I can "Struggle" thru that

Gotta bend & stoop down pick up the bags and the skids are 6/7 feet high too..

Up to my waist ain't bad like a "Normal Pallet height..

Now past my Waist Level or higher my chest level not only bend & lift but THROW Up too..

By after lunch I'm HALF DEAD & in thy "Twilight Zone" rest of shift

And I'm working mostly with 20/30 something guys who can throw stack 2/3 skids 2 my "One"..

So I figure got one more "week" Maybe 2..

Hiked about it in the Forest Preserve yesterday and "Contemplated" about getting my "Dumbass" back into a BIG RIG and once again becoming "connected" with the Industry once again..
