Rushed up to Bloomsburg today from Carlisle, and another truck had just docked to pick up the same load as me.

Shipper requested a truck yesterday, broker provided truck to pick up today. Then shipper requested another truck for the same load, actually admitted it while I was standing by the office waiting on a decision.

TONU day, yay!

The Bloomsburg load was going to North Dakota, right on the Canadian border.

Now it’s off to Lock Haven tomorrow to pick up for Texas……hopefully………..

I don't know @Fageol seems to be living the dream up there in Alaska.

After a month plus breakup we concluded that we're stuck with one another. So in January, I gained a beautiful fiancée. I'm not yet sure what she gained but you can best believe it was her decision (which is usual according to the evolutionary biology of humans). Then in the middle of last month I was diagnosed with leukemia. Dana has been with me at chemo sessions and other medical stuff.

But if I have to have a crappy condition to have such a chick, I'm good with that condition. Besides that, I'm 81 and she'll soon be 57.

Having her to laugh, travel, drink beer, fish, and jump into bed -- at times with clothes and all as so often we're beat from been doing stuff and laughing -- with and just helping, IMHO is as good a life as any man can have. Further Dana swore she wouldn't "let" me used her snagged up fishing reel -- I think that some time ago I posted a short video of her watching me trying to cast with that damn reel.

I have been there. Saturday delivery of caps and reload cardboard from Pepsi going back to the place that sent the caps.

Must have been like a hundred Bols or so.
Each bol had like four other papers with it that had to be separated.

I spent a good 35-40 minutes signing that crap.
Loader got finished way before me and it was a full trailer.

It wasn't a manifest where you had to put in the city and state pallet count and weight.

Just a signature and date.

Couldn't get to office Depot fast enough the next day to get one of those signature stamp thingies.

We have one customer that is a full trailer of LTL. Like, 20-25 shipments x2. One bill for the customer and one for us. So, 40-50 bills.
I used to joke, I can't go there I only have one pen.

Like, they would have to get a copy of your signature and how long does it take to get a stamp made?

So grateful for the master BOL that Pyle has me sign. They stuff the little micro BOLs in an envelope for me to toss in the back.

How does that work?
Like, they would have to get a copy of your signature and how long does it take to get a stamp made?

I'm referring to those small hand-held things that is basically a miniature printing press where you take alphanumeric symbols, put them on the hand-held punch press, stamp it in some ink and your good to go.
