Where Are You Parked Tonight? Check-In Thread

I don't know how ya do that with a "Volvo"...

Just not having my Gears in a Dry-van or Reefer makes me go about "Half -Insane"
What's being a Volvo have to do with it? Any brand with an automatic that is locked from the driver's control would be risky. @mndriver has his set-up the way he wants it, so HE can control the truck, not the truck controlling him.

Welp If I reached down there started fiddling with the equipment...

I'd be "Criminally" liable for "Vandalism" say the least.

Destruction of "Property" can be "Felony" if $$$ amount worthy
Pushing buttons isn't a liability, or vandalism. You, intentionally breaking into the shift control mechanism, is.

I'm doing heavy haul today.

Pulling this to Tennessee so my dad can use it.

I can't see the trailer in any of my mirrors except for when I turn corners or hit a pebble in the road and it gets airborne and I can see it in the rearview.

Tires are inflated to 60 psi. Next time I stop I'm gonna let them down to like 15 psi

Thank the Lord I didn't have to work during the day today. Just listening to the traffic reports is enough to retire me. But, I'mm be out there at 23:00 tonight, just a doin' that deal!

All in how the idjit in the office dictates to you and how willing you are to either accept the situation or use that magic word…

I ran almost the full length of I-57 in Illinois today and traffic was light.

There were dead deer on the shoulder almost every mile though once I got south of Effingham

Because “fuck you”. That’s why…

Is that what you're hauling to South Georgia?

Ain't nothing there but the remains of an old whaling station, and Ernest Shackleton's grave.

But there's a truck stop with a good restaurant nearby on one of the south sandwich islands. I recommend the penguin sandwich.

What is the bridge toll on that one? :D
I think there's a ferry from Argentina but there's a stopover at the Falklands.
