Looks like you got plenty of time if you get loaded in a timely manner.

About 4:30 Am I am going to double up my Fuel & Pretrip and it's about 13miles away so figure about 20/25 minutes drive from here to there try be first handful in line at the gate but I'm guessing this place sticks to schedule since they refused it early yesterday so 6 Am dock "hopefully"....

I'm showing 6 &1/2 to 7 hours Drive Time from here to Morton Mississippi..

If I get there early afternoon find a Truckstop get at least 3 hours off duty stop that clock..

Loaded by 9/10 pm leave me 3/4 hours of Drive Line then pull off someplace get that 7 hours "Sleeper-Berth" use the Split I should atleast make the Big Petro in Effingham Illinois by tomorrow afternoon then leave out 2/3 Am drive rest of way up

Question is are they gonna get on it and be in & outta there in an hour or so..

Or are they gonna screw around & take their sweet @$$ time

In the loading dock but in Sleeper Berth..

Sat on the Off Ramp for 3 1/2 hours & "creeped" in with my flashers 3/4 Mph before checking in but got barely 45 minutes back to do split sleeper which ain't worth it..

I didn't know you could park in the back lot not familiar with this place...

Finish loading and P/C to the Back-Lot then later after Ten Hours has "turned" I'll go On Duty log Pretrip then circle around the lot and go On Duty Loading for awhile drink afew sodas then roll..

Because I'm nearly 5 hours into a break and I ain't sitting another 10 hours just up the road when I ain't gonna be able to sleep anyways "Screw That"..

This is "Why" E-Logs totally "SUCK" because it's always counting No "Flexibility" for stuff like this..

I ain't sitting another TEN HOURS when I've been down 5 hours already whether I'm loading or not F-Worded Em..

At 1:45 I am ready to go will put enough in that I loaded here on duty after 1:45

Why on earth take the rim off to do an outer? I've seen so many of them have you drive the inner up on a block of wood and peel it off. No jack or retorque necessary.

Kal Tire here is so bad now they haul them off and take them to a cage inside because apparently someone decided they don't have enough sense not to blow one up in their own faces. Then again they make a career out of every task they do.

I carry a plug kit with two plug sizes. I can't sit around and wait for a road call to show up in 3 hours. Plug it, air it up, roll, deliver, repair properly at the end of my shift. Swapped out trailer? Plug it, roll, leave it, as long as it holds air.

That works too. Guess it depends which type of trucking job you have. They try to say you're not supposed just plug semi tires but I know I've plugged more passenger vehicle tires than I care to remember and ran them for years after. Really as long as it's not a steer that might be a bit dramatic.

Dropped at Sysco Foods in Jackson Wisconsin grabbed an empty outta Sysco.

Now in back at Terminal in Milwaukee in dock on "Sleeper Berth" again loading me up for Atlanta Georgia due Wednesday 7am but I'll start Tonight so I ain't gotta half Kill Myself along the way..

Leave here about Midnight get through Chicago and hopefully down 65 past Indianapolis by Daylight find a Truckstop and 10 hour into Nightfall get at least past Chattanooga maybe like Pee-Lot in Dalton Georgia park by lunch so I can get up "Early" be in Atlanta before "Rush Hour" hits..

Took my small boy on a short landoll call yesterday. We loaded up a big ugly mess of masonry stuff and their forklift I walked him through running the trailer and he actually helped a lot. He said he liked that way more than door swinging and who can blame him?

Any young boy is just "Enamored" with Construction Equipment & Machines at that age..

Look at it this way @Hillbilly Canuck your "boy" is "Alright" that meaning that he is "Normal"..

Be "Proud" of Yourself you've done just "Fine" as a Dad .."as of this point"

At his age, you couldn't get away from equipment and trucks. That's how I ended up where I am today. I would love to fly a plane and operate a locomotive. The bigger the equipment, the more I want to learn about it.

At that age my dad was well known. He fixed anything and everything to do with coal or logging for miles and miles around. I always had lots of toys to play with. He would've loved seeing this.
