I been reading these forums and other trucking forums about 4-5 times a week, and i saw a post about this guy saying something about its not for everybody but its a good career if you can hang in there. I dont know if this is me or not but it seems like 69% of the things i read is negative towards trucking. I dont know if these trucking forums are filled with drivers that wine like babies or just not satisfied with their job. I really want to start trucking but sometimes i question that desision about getting into the industry from reading the forums all the time, can someone shed some light on this topic please?

I'll tell you what is wrong with Trucking in one word. REPUBLICANS. Not going to get political here, but the last 8 years of republicants have ruined this country financially. And with the trickle down effect, transportation has taken a big hit. It will pick back up eventually.

Trucking is like life...its what you make of it.
I've been driving for 7 years and have hauled a variety of loads. Thats a positive for me, as I get bored easily..lol
I get bored easy too. When I am on the road in the springtime.I bring my lawnchair, park by grass and my dog and I sit outside.Or if i'm at the cust waiting,my dog and I will go for a nice walk.Beats the heck out of sitting in the truck all the time.

My dog and I do the same thing. In the summer one of our favorite stops is the rest area in Ft Steel, Wy
