speaking of sausage, the other day I wanted some sausage patties and the store had raised the price another dollar to 6 bucks a lb and I just refuse to pay that,
So I was looking around and saw they had shoulder roast on sale buy one get one free so i got it cut it up and ran it thru the grinder, added salt and pepper, some sage and red pepper and tried it out,it was a bit to dry so I added some pork fat too it and damn but it came out great, ended up with 20 lbs and the cost came too a bit more than a buck and a quarter a LB and a hour and a half of my time, total savings 95 bucks!!!
