Someone told me that Dunkin uses heavy whipping cream.

So I got some & tried it, and now ALL coffee, to me, tastes like dunkin.

Why does my phone keep trying to change dunkin to Dublin? Pain in the ass..

The inventor of auto-correct has died. May he restaurant in pieces. 😁
that's only if you want cream, dumbass.

dunkin donuts coffee is best when the water is super hot, more so that what a Mr. Coffee can heat up, or even a Keurig...

that's why i don't pay $389.89 dollars for a pound of it myself.

To brew Dunkin' Donuts coffee at home, aim for a water temperature between 195°F and 205°F as this is considered the optimal brewing temperature for most coffee, ensuring a balanced extraction of flavor without bitterness from overly hot water; most modern coffee makers can be adjusted to this range.

Key points to remember:
  • Temperature range: 195°F - 205°F is the recommended water temperature for brewing quality coffee.

  • Impact of temperature: Water too hot can burn the coffee, while water too cold can result in a weak, under-extracted brew.

  • Check your coffee maker: Most coffee makers allow you to adjust the water temperature setting.
Makes me glad I'm accustomed to shitty coffee. Sounds too complicated to get good stuff.

Good ole Maxwell House for me. No fancy schmancy coffee makers. No artificial sweeteners. No flavored creams. How anyone can drink the crap some of these so-called coffee companies make is beyond me. That Starbucks shit being the absolute worst.

The only negative thing about "the big one" hitting California is our dumbass Washington politicians would piss away trillions of dollars rebuilding the state instead of celebrating with the rest of the country. šŸ™„

.. or black coffee
When I first leased on with Daily Express, I picked up a load to be delivered to a mining operation in western PA. I found the place, thanks to a local guy who happened to be going right by it. That was in the days when we used to use CB radios. Remember them?

Anyway, I woke up the next morning to a guy knocking on the door. He asked if I wanted a cup of coffee. I said sure. He said it's black, that's all I have. Beggars can't be choosers. I felt bad taking coffee from his thermos, I thought he was brewing a batch in the office. I drank it gratefully. To this day, I can drink it any way it's served.

Years ago my sister said her husband got mad when she washed out his coffee mug.

Apparently it's a Navy thing.

Navy guys, according to her, never wash out their coffee cups because they think that brown crust that builds up adds flavor to the coffee.

They drink it black. No sugar or cream. Therefore the crust isn't going to attract bugs, or get nasty when the dairy stuff spoils.

I don't use sugar but I use half & half.
I do get a coffee crust buildup in the mug, even though I rinse it out and let it dry. But I'm my case, my hands are too big to scrub out the inside of the mug, my fingertips can barely pin the sponge against the bottom of the mug which is just a typical 20 oz tumbler type thing. Stainless steel.

But occasionally I'll use the handle of a spatula or big spoon or something & scrub it out clean, and I think the coffee tastes better out of a clean mug.

Just like how every truck driver I've ever talked to on the subject, says (insert name of each guy's preferred coffee source truck stop) has the best coffee because they keep their equipment clean, when the gas stations run by penny pinchers neglect such daily tasks and they end up serving bitter coffee as a result.

I'm in the latter camp. Coffee is better out of a clean mug, from clean equipment.

I have a stainless-steel travel mug. I just rinse it out with boiling water. It's starting to get stained, I aint worried about it. I don't know if it adds more flavor, I doubt it.

I have a stainless fully sealed double wall mug from my nephew. It keeps coffee hot all day. Takes about 16 hours for it to get warm and even 24 hours later it's still drinkable. If I fill it and barely drink it one day won't even have to reheat it the next day it'll still be hot-ish because it didn't get opened much.

Guarding that mug with my life. It's stained inside and paint is missing from the outside but I don't care.

I put mine in the cup holder and open it to allow it vent, otherwise it would be too hot to drink during my shift.
It's a Thermos with a handle. The lip on top is tall so it doesn't spill while I let it vent in a bouncy shunt truck on springs.
