Why clean up for the camera. This photo should reflect life. I say buck the trend of putting up some sqeaky clean dry van. Put up a real trucker doing a real job in the heavy haul segment.

Maybe once I get my ramps installed, I'll post a picture of my loading a military vehicle, grader, backhoe or something like that.

Hey folks,

Our next project here at The Truckers Forum is to create an image to encourage visitors to join our forum and we would like to use one of our members trucks in this image.

This photo will be seen by every visitor of this forum, so something with a nice background is what we are hoping for.

Before using the image, any DOT/MC numbers, company names, or any other information on the truck will be removed via photoshop (or whatever it is that Rubber Duck uses).

We need the full size image of your photo from your camera. The bigger the better as it will make the image easier for Rubber Duck to work with.

Most likely, you won't be able to post it here, but you can try. Easiest thing to do is email it to me, so if you are going to submit a picture, just PM me for the email address to send it to. (Also sending an email out regarding this, which will have the email address, but not all of you receive emails from us).

I'm thinking a side profile will look best, but feel free to send in multiple angles.

Below is an example of what the final product will look like (don't try to take your rigs into an area like this though, LOL)

Of course I want to enter Lucy in this beauty contest! I'm going home next week and was going to do pics with her anyway... A family member is a photographer... If any of the pics look like what you are looking for, well....

We have a pic up now, but may use additional ones in the future. As for an actual upcoming contest, we will announce one in the future and probably have images submitted on the forum for that. I kind of like using actual members images for things, might figure out additional ways to do that with more photos in the future. (maybe for the status icons and such)

He did that with a photo editor to get rid of his tractor number and USDOT numbers and stuff.
