T880 Spare Switch

2020 T880. I’d like to add fog lights to the truck using one of the spare switches for power. Is there a harness to plug into? The local KW dealer didn’t know. Thanks!

Like any Paccar product, the harness is labeled with tags near the plugs indicating what the pigtail is for. The fag light plug should be tie wrapped into the harness near to where the factory would position the switch.

The man asked about a 2020 truck.
These days, if a harness is not tagged, you could cause some serious component damage. Pete and KW tag all the harnesses with the intended use and either terminate it with a jumper to over-ride the option not bought or used or connect it to the intended device.

Generally it is tie wrapped into the harness if not being used fairly close to where the ordered options switch would be.

The spare switches could already run thru relays and out the firewall. Depends on how they were ordered. Look for a bundle of wire loom along the frame rail somewhere (usually back of cab/sleeper) and then it's just a matter of finding the right wire.
