I used to listen to his dad, Dale wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea but he was honest and he honestly cared. I’ve listened to Steve a lot and he ok but the caliber of drivers that call in there is terrible and he lets them ramble on. You want real entertainment listen when that dude from Motorkote is on. Those idiots call in and pretend that stuff is magic.

Well it is an overnite show so that says a lot about how much ratings it will garner. Not much.
Back in the day on XM they had a show where they had two strangers call in and try to have a conversation. It wasn't good.
I don't have XM. Actually I do, I got a free trial with the car I bought. I have never even turned the satellite radio function on. Not interested.
XM is like the D.J. 2000 from WKRP. The same songs played in the same rotation over and over.
My buddy pays for XM just so he can listen to Stern. Kind of a waste of money for a local driver if you ask me but hey, it ain't my money.

I hear Ya. Sure XM is kinda OK drivers doing OTR. But there is really no point to have it in a personal vehicle.

Indeed. If I get tired of scanning FM I'll just put one of the bunch of streaming music options on.

I got rid of XM a long time ago because the classic rock channels played too much Steely Dan.
Steely Dan is just elevator music and they should have been booed off the stage everywhere they went.
I don't think any real people ever listened to Steely Dan.
If they had any fans at all, they were the geeks who wore plaid bell bottoms and sunglasses with big orange tinted lenses.
