you mentioned sinus infection in the thread...sneezing.
i get them once, sometimes 4 times a year. my doctor sometimes prescribes an antibiotic, which helps.
i went to an ENT once, and only once.
no more than say 3 minutes in her exam room, she looks up my nose, and see's a "deviated septum", and say's, "i need to operate"
i'm thinking..whoa.....can you buy my dinner and then breakfast first, before you get me naked.>???
my first visit, and she wants to operate, then she said she wanted the co-pay in full before she does it.
the BC/BS i had at the time said, DO NOT PAY ANYTHING up front....
but here's the rub, i asked the doctor if this would "cure me" of these sinus infections..........
she never gave me an answer. but was adamant about the surgery.
that was (guessing) nearly 25 years ago.
still have the deviated septum, still get the sinus infections.
i either get the infection first, THEN a cold, or the cold first, THEN the infection....
what say you..?????
