Why not? It's 12 volts DC.
No way to get the popcorn to the mouth. Or beer. Fail! This is brilliant... Imma gonna try it.

And all this time, I thought you had a sensible head on your shoulders.........A beat up old Dodge is better than a fancy, brand new Chev or Ford any day.

I miss my first pickup. 1979 Dodge with a 3 speed manual, no power anything, non-functional speedometer or gas gauge (no idea how I knew when it was low on gas but I never ran out). 225 slant-six. Geared like a farm tractor. That damn thing was indestructible, ... well until I over-dilluted the coolant with water in the summer & forgot about it til winter...A beat up old Dodge is better than a fancy, brand new Chev or Ford any day.

If I'd known it was full of ice I'd have been fine. I'd have just put a half dozen block heaters on it & thawed it out & drained it.Did that to my old 1970 Ford. Brings a tear to my eye just thinking about it.
Lol....Can't go wrong with a DeWalt
My dad made himself a heated windbreaker jacket. He's worn it on his Goldwing down in 30 degree temps & says he was warm.Have you or anybody on this forum tried one of those deWalt or Bosch electric jackets? Motorcycle season is coming up and a heated jacket might work pretty good. The alternator of my old KZ probably won't sustain one. Anybody have an opinion on their capacity to sustain a 65 mph or thereabouts breeze?

All he did was feed 32 gauge solid copper wire all around inside the lining of the jacket & there's some kind of electronic thing that sends a pulsing 12 volt current through it.
If you do, power it up OUTSIDE while you're NOT wearing it, in case you don't use enough wire. I don't know how many feet of wire my dad used. If it's too much wire it won't warm up because there will be too much resistance. Not enough & it'll melt the wire & that won't be fun if you're wearing it at the time, or if it fills your house with toxic smoke from burning nylon.Your Dad sounds like a creative guy. I might give that a shot. I have a parka intended for use on the North Slope oilfields. Maybe I should electrify that. Thanks for the idea.
