Proper or Disgraceful flag display?

There are so many improper displays of the flag these days that I have kind of given up & just try to judge each instance by what I think is the person's intent.

This guy probably meant it to be patriotic, too dumb to know that it will get filthy in that location.

Of course, I'd probably be more of a stickler for official flag code if I'd worn it on a uniform while goat f*ers were shooting at me.

So I'll defer to the judgement of those who have.

In an era when some people are burning the flag while claiming to be offended by it, I just consider us lucky that there are still people who TRY to be patriotic, even if they're unfamiliar with the code.

I put a pen on the ledge underneath the door of a dry van once and ran it from New Jersey to Tunkhannock and it never fell off or moved.

I used to put sheet metal seals there in front of (or behind actually) the tail lights. Sometimes they'd still be there when I open the doors at my next pickup.

Mexican Independence Day was over a month ago yet abuncha em still waving Mexico Flag around town also painted Mexican Flags on their pickup truck hoods .

Now @Duck if I'm not "mistaken" weren't they just poor starving "Dirt Farmers" in old Mexico came up here get a factory/wharehouse job $12/$15 hour....

Then they gonna drive around like "Mexico" is Gr8..

By gosh pack em up drive down to Laredo Texas and "Get Outta Here"

They're not celebrating the cartel infested shithole they came from.

They're celebrating their culture. Their heritage. Their ancestors. Their awesome FOOD. The things they have they can be proud of.

Just like we do on Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, Labor Day, Memorial Day, Halloween, etc.

They do need to give it a rest with the flags though, and remember to place an American flag above it.

We get that a lot up here with all the different nationalities flying their homelands flag especially around World Cup time.
I don't mind as long as they have a Canadian flag as well but, most don't they are too ignorant and arrogant!

Like in the Iraq war when the Americans tore down the statue of Saddam Hussain and the soldiers raised the American flag.
I guess the higher ups in the U.S. military told them to take the flag down because it was gone in a hurry.
