Pay Cut?

Yeah pretty soon I'll just have the truck. And of course anything floated on Discover.

I don't really look like a risk at all even with the personal loan really. They're both with the credit union and on autopay.

since none of the homes there do anything for you i would even consider looking somewhere else to find what you want. as you get older are you going to want to deal with the cold ice and snow:confused-96:. but that's even if you want to relocate elsewhere

Well I'm happy to report that so far, I'm definitely not taking a pay cut. My lowest paying day was the first one with a trainer...and it was still more than I usually made at the old job.

I'll be able to get a decent place soon enough, despite adding the truck payment.

Waiting for yesterday to show up on my settlement sheet but my math is usually correct. Looks like $1790-ish gross for my first full 5 day week.

I'm cool with that. Especially since that's still while having every actual, real, social life weekend off. That's also while only getting $2 out of a possible $6 load bonus. Based on my performance so far, I'm meeting $4-5 worth for next time. They assess the past quarter and apply it to all the work you do on the following. As a newbie they only give me $2 since I have no history.

Oh and if times get lean, we can volunteer for Walmart out of Bedford PA and they'll pay us our daily average. So it pays to get that extra load in when you can.

There's also an annual performance bonus that's added to every load and once you get it, it never goes away.

I can imagine after a couple years you get your base load pay maxed out (I'm in the middle), get some annual bonuses (I have none), and add in the quarterly bonuses (I'm getting the smallest other than zero)....you might gross nearly 100k working 5 days a week.

Free hats too.
