It’s all I ever used in the shop. Have somebody He-Man crank a cat oil filter on dry. Put a 36” breaker bar on that mother fucker and problem solved.May need that sumbitch in my life. I've got a couple that are more **** off than they are help.
I’ll have to bug my dealer about getting me one. That is a snap on brand strap wrench by the way.
I don’t disagree but some filters you can’t get those up in where they are. Everyone needs to own a pair of those pliers, they have a ton of usesI would use these on stuff I changed on regular basis. Because I know the seal is lubed and the filter is hand tight plus 3/4 turn. 20” channel locks.

Snap On is usually worth the money, I was just trying to get a pictureI don’t think I paid much more than 50 for the one I bought new!

I have had this argument with people ad nauseum who don’t work with tools every day, all day. When you buy tools from Snap on, MAC, or Matco ect. You’re paying for a few things. #1 resale value of the tool, #2 comfort in your hands using them for an extended period of time, 3 the convenience of having the tool delivered directly to the shop, #4 every snap on dealer I ever did business with I could contact any time day or night and they would either bring me the tool or replace a broken tool, or if they didn’t have it, get it ordered and on its way to me any time day or night. Good luck getting that kind of service from any tool company sold in a store. There's a difference between buying quality, and throwing money away on a name...
