New house, new grill.

You should only flip w steak once. Grill marks bud.

Me n Wayne got a lot in common when it comes to steak.

Definitely! when I was in school, The chef taught us flip once and leave it alone!
Don't fuss with it, don't press on it, Just leave it alone.
I see so many jerk-offs flipping burgers like 5 and 6 times thinking they are grill masters. No! It is a clear indication they have no fucking clue about what they are doing.

The more times you smash it or flip it. The dryer it will be.

I wish I could convince my brood to eat off something other than gas.
You know you can add hard wood pieces around the edges of your heat shield to add smoke to the meat so it’s got a more “Grilled” flavor? It’s not the source of the heat it’s the smoke and I know coal smoke is a different flavor but, the wood smoke is better.

hope you enjoy your house and smoker Mike
I am a grilling,smoker and bbq addict
I got all kinds of cooking stuff
I have 5 things to cook on,only one is gas,my grill
wood coals, charcoal are my favorite on the other things

Best meat I've ever eaten was cooked over a wood fire.

No concern over what species of wood. Just whatever was lying around on the ground at the time.

No grill either. Just a rack over a campfire.

I’ve BBQ’d a few Budweisers myself.

Brisket is going on tonight for lunch tomorrow.

The point of this grill is to be able to simply let it run without having to babysit the fire. Will I be able to just leave it alone? Probably not, lol. I’m sure I will be up to check it a couple times.

Forgot the pic when I took it out of the smoker. It's in a cooler wrapped in foil now. Realized when I was wrapping it that I had no towels to put in with it since moving, so hopefully it holds temperature good still. It's an almost new cooler so it should still be pretty well insulated. Looked really good though, try to get a pic when I take it back out later.

Cooked rather quickly. Put it on at 9:00pm, pulled it off this morning at 7:30. It was already up to temp, so this one never went into any stall at all. I do know, regardless how this one turns out, I will be looking somewhere other than Walmart probably for the next one. Really didn't like the look of the brisket the more I looked at it while preparing it.

Got two more Chickens on there now to eat throughout the week.

I go to my local butcher who kills the critters on site.

Get some absolutely great briskets and skirt steaks that are impossible to find otherwise.

Whole Foods has some really nice looking ones last time I looked, but didn’t have the smoker yet.

There is a guy that sells grass fed at the market here, probably get in contact with him for the next one.

Oh yeah, did a couple pizzas last night and stuck a t-bone between them. Great supper!
