My car is pretty....

A 24' car hauling trailer is around 2,500 pounds empty. A 24' camping trailer is about 5,000. I don't think my buddy had 2,500 pounds of stuff in his. He had the couch and water tank in back and the tongue weight was pretty lite. I don't remember what type of pickup truck he had but it was a straight 7 cylinder. That's right, 7 cylinders! He went out to Reno and haven't seen him since we built it in 2009 when I was home for a year.

Just buy an RV. By the time you put tanks, hot water heater, ac and heat, slide out, awning, stove, fridge (tri fuel 12v,110v, or propane) good bed, stabilizers etc etc etc

You could have just bought one.
hell then you have the so call rvr's that are happy with a mr buddy heater and a 5 gallon bucket :stare1:

Ya know, the redneck stretch jobs, like the Suburban with three bodies plus a pickup bed,..... the tandem axle pickup,... at least the guys who hacked those together can argue that there is a perceived practical purpose for it... even if the only argument is that "it looks cool", if only to a few people in the trailer park.

But this??

No possibility of convincing even the dumbest person that there's a practical purpose or that ANYONE would think it looks cool.

It's a waste of an antique pickup cab.

unless the rest of the pick up, was rotted away. but then a stake body could have been built, or even maybe a fiberglass bed, if that is available, but yes, i do agree, a waste of good cab all the more.
