my authority???

hi ppl,
i am goin to get my authority for otr and buy a tractor & trlr. Can someone tell me how much it is going to cost for my authority & insurance? $$$

No.

Authority is a few hundred dollars. For a fairly small fee, somebody lime OOIDA or NASTC (and others) can set it up for you.

As for insurance, you are going to have to get quotes. Can't even begin to tell you what it will cost, bit that needs to be the first thing you accomplish. Insurance can be as high as $50k per year, or as low as $8k per year based on experience, driving record, and location.

In my area (Ohio) average insurance costs of new authority is $1200 to $1500 a month

Mine has crept up to 1800 a month, but that’s new truck, new trailer and 500,000 cargo.
