Found out yesterday that Midwest Petroleum in Cuba, Missouri sold out to TA/Petro. Didn’t even notice the sign in the air when I pulled in to get fuel.
Not. Necessarily failure of the independence. Ambest Stops following the other chain or net work
Smaller independence that I’ve been seeing convert over, our owners that are retiring after 40 or 50 years of service. They are basically cashing their 401(k) out which was the business
They're putting no money into existing places and letting them crumble, while still charging for parking, but buying new places?
Makes so sense. Just die already. Let someone else have a fantastic rise from the ashes of ehat used to be 76TravelPortTAPetro then a colossal crash and buyout like Williams Truck stops.
When I came to Sherwin I tried to resurrect my UltraOne card. Dreadful experience. It still exists in limbo as does my Pilot card which I also could not resurrect. Loves however was more than easy to get going again so that's the only one I use. They're popping up everywhere but you still have to plan around them because as soon as the last line is painted the parking lot is immediately full.
TA/Petro isn't interested in service and earning anyone's business anymore.
