She initiated a chase game when we got home. She wanted me to chase her, then she'd chase after me, tail wagging the whole time.

Then, it was bedtime.

She's still a little more slender than she should be, but her energy level and general health have improved so much, she's not the same dog I scooped up off the ground two weeks ago.

You’re a good mama @Injun. That’s a great story.

After Jake and Bruno passed. I didn’t want anymore dogs. I cried like baby when I lost both and I like big dogs. I have three dogs now. Two smalls and a medium. All three needed homes.
The medium (Billie) rode on the truck with me til I hung it up
They love us. We have to look to look after them.
