Life in Sector 7 G.

Do you wear moisture wicking shirts? If not I highly recommend them. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have survived this week wearing cotton.

Maybe TMI but my underwear are also moisture wicking and I won't wear anything else.

More of the same here, still humid AF! Thunderstorms are supposed to come through tomorrow. I just hope they are the kind that lowers the temp and humidity rather than the short ones that raise the humidity.
I just saw the coolest fireworks display ever.

Just the usual day-early Manteno, IL show, except for a thunderstorm was moving into the area.

There was a low cloud cover & not only did some of the big bright flashes illuminate the clouds, but the clouds were illuminating themselves via heat lightning.

The lightning was mostly cloud-to-cloud stuff, very intense but no rain. The clouds were flickering all over the place, with the fireworks in the middle of the scene.

I didn't record any video because it was a 360° panoramic light show that simply couldn't be contained in a 16:9 widescreen. And 99.9% of the audience for such a thing would be listening to it with cell phone speakers so what's the point?

I'll check out the local Facebook groups later to see if anyone posted videos that are globally shareable.

Where does it wick the moisture to? Is there a drain hose running down your leg?
I can't figure how they could evaporate it into the air unless you're running around with no pants on over them. 🤔

That sounds awesome.

The way it works is it doesn't absorb moisture so the sweat can evaporate away from your skin.

My jeans do get pretty soaked though. They aren't moisture wicking. 😂

So, you are sitting at a table on break, and some person plunks their ass down at the same table. Doesn't say hello or may I join you or nothing. Just plunks their ass down and says nothing.
There was 8 other tables with no one sitting at them.
What kind of person is this?

The fuck is wrong with these people these days?

I don't mind sharing a table and I get that you may not want to converse (conversate).
But you at least say hello. :dunno:

There is only one covered table under a kind of like a gazebo type thing. If someone else is there that I don't know then I will take another table.
If it is raining and someone is at the table under the gazebo type thing that I don't know well, I will walk up and say...
How's it goin' EH?
Mind if I sit at your table out of the rain, Eh?
Every time they say, no problem have a seat Eh. So, how's your day going so far Eh?
Not too bad Eh.

While I am on a rant here...
I can't stand people on speaker phone talking loudly. I also can't stand people playing videos on their phone on speaker.

For some reason this Nepalese guy was pacing around me talking loudly on speaker phone in a foreign language.
So, I broke rule #2 and started playing a video on speaker.
He finally fucked off away from me because he couldn't hear his caller.
