Shy and Quiet.
Thought I would share this with you drivers. Too many miles down the road and drivers usually end up with clutch knee. I started having joint pain in all of my joints during my first deployment Operation Desert Shield/ Desert Storm. However; as a driver the joint that causes me the most trouble is the left knee. I was told about 12 years ago that I have no cartilage left in that knee. Plus I have arthritis. The pain has gotten unbearable. I just recently had a MRI and have been seeing a surgeon. I was told that the pain is caused by 2 things. Arthritis causes swelling and swelling causes pain. The MRI showed extensive varicosities in the knee. In my left calf I do have some varicose veins. I was told this also causes swelling which causes pain. Said I need to see a vascular surgeon. The doc prescribed me old man socks. If you go thru a doc, these are pricey, but you can buy these without a prescription in most drug stores. You just have to measure your ankle and calf.
If you are having left knee pain you might want to try these. They are about 20 bucks. They help hold the blood up in your leg. A driver sits way to long without circulating blood due to just sitting there, that and riding the clutch around nashville is not good on the knee. You get 2 to a box so that's a little over 10 bucks. This has helped with my knee pain tremendously. Thought I would share that with you drivers that have that burning aching knee pain.
