Very good advice.

I had the same problem on a 96 Freightliner which turned out to be the release valve on the air dryer. I live and operate my transport company in Montreal were the temperature can fall quite low and this was when the problem most likely occurred. The release valve would get stuck open with the freezing cold and moisture caused in the air system from the raise and fall of the air temperature.

You didn't mention were you operate out of, so I'm just throwing it out there.

I parked my rig in '02 during that shut-down attempt and drew my line in the sand - so to speak. I was operating out of Las Vegas NV at the time. Since then I've moved to TX and have been active in assisting truckers with mine and my brother's website (TheAmericanDriver.com). Recently though, I've decided to pursue heading back out on the big road. Bro's got a lucrative contract lined up and I'm going through all the updating of my hazmat and medical. Then on to base plate and insurances. Should be back out about the time the normal cycle hits full swing.

thanks guys.Im still upset but things are slowly getting better.my truck was worked from 2001 to now but people that did not take care of it so i think you guys know what im left with so far we have had to fix about everything on the truck.then the other day my pump stoped working so i can no longer pump a load on to my truck to haul.so im now im not making and money and tring to fix a 600lb pump by myself
