What I'm trying to say is, if you give 'most' people the opportunity to govern themselves accordingly, they will. The ones that don't, you privately pull them aside and tell them to get it in line or get out. Pretty simple. They either tow the line or get the ban hammer dropped on their heads.

Is that in reference to political topics in threads that are not in the politics section? For example a trucking topic news thread?

Or is this to be applied in the politics section too, rendering it virtually impossible to post in?

There is no longer a specific politics section. That forum attracts people who come here for nothing other than politics and I’m not interested in attracting those people.
