geeze is you from bama. cable internets is the best in most places. um no if you subscribe to cable internets then it comes through your cable connection and not ur phone line. i have phone jacks in my house i never use em my home phone is free!!!

My son put a me on his plan cell phone and my tablet..the man thinks he got to have his own hot line to keep tabs on his mother. That plan is version. Then there is mothers plan prepaid plan straight talk. You see krelithous I tend to get into mischief....some times my adult kids cannot find me. Especially when I go

i bet it felt liberating to cut the cord didn't it. i still have the cable companies boxes and DVR in my closet since it's free and i can't remove them from my bill or it would break up my bundle. but i know when my deal is over i am looking forward to giving em there crap back since it's outdated and it looks like it went out with the flip phone. i don't comprehend paying 30.00 a month for a DVR that's not even a whole home system and the UI is so outdated
. i went out and bought a tivo along with 5 mini's i did call tivo to see if i could get a deal on the lifetime sub and i got it for 199.00 and not at the regular price. by dumping there crap i am saving 30.00 a month just in DVR FEE'S. but i am looking forward to returning there crap to them as i dont need it
I pissed century link company off royally when I closed my home account and internet as it had been in place for many years....they ask for a cell phone number I did not give them one either. I went puff like Casper the ghost. Cut them a final bill check paid in full. Never looked back just kept on rolling my wheels.
i pissed my cable company off spectrum i fucking hate them!! i got on the phone with a drone she asked how she could help me so i told her i needed a 5 digital tuners along with 5 cable cards for the 5 tivos i have networked together. well hell low and behold she comes out and tells me that i can't have the 5 digital tuners along with the 5 cable cards your not an old TWC customer!!! then she told me that i would have to pay for there dvr service not true and then she goes on and tells me that i have to rent there box by that time i am furious. she didn't care that it was the law that they have support compatible devices. this woman was a total cunt!!! i got there attn when i filed a complaint with the FCC that woke em up
i also told them to drop the local channels last night and drop my bill $ 9.00 a month since i can get them for free

HAHA your right nothing in this day in age nothing is free we all pay for it one way or another!!! to be honest no matter what we buy today were getting screwed and there's no customer service there nothing more than seat warmers that have there heads stuck up there asses so far they can't see 3 seconds in front of them. i know my cable co has a money grab going on i know they do. when i called last night and requested two more cable cards and tuning adapters the bitch said outright again that i could not have them. i am not shelling out damm near 100.00 a month in cable boxes when the other stuff is free

cutting your cable cord and or reducing services is indeed as much as about eliminating that mental mind candy that gives your brain cavities and free's up your time to pursue more useful/educational/skill building intrest's as it's about saving money. or you can just use the newly found downtime and decompress/travel/ or spend time with friends and family. cable providers are clever however and are willing to resort to tricky behavior modification tactics to keep you hooked. losing your triple play discount if you eliminate one or more of the bundle packages on service signing you up for a limited time at a reduced rate ect ect...
streaming services won't really save you money now that corporations are now packaging all of these streaming services subscriptions with channels and content that you'll never watch just like they did with cable and satellite.
