I tried bear baiting for the first time this year. It's difficult to get them to come to bait in my area. We're in ag country and they have so many available food sources. I had no success but it was fun. I'll try again next year. Built this board walk and bridge to my bait site. Dumped chocolate frosting, Skittles, trail mix, and assorted breads and sweets. Here's a few bears I had on camera. View attachment 59129View attachment 59130View attachment 59131
When you become skilled at luring in the bears , does that make you a master baiter?

Warm clothes. I have top of the line clothing for hunting and fishing. I'm good to near zero for a few hours. Don't get me wrong when I'm in my enclosed stand I'll run the heat but I can do without it.
It’s not as cold as duck hunting but I’d last no more than 4 hours there on a cold day. It’s a fantastic build.

Thank you.
Chemical hand and toe warmers are another key to taking the cold.
