I did school through TMC I did have to sign a year contract. $2500 if I chose to quit in that year. 0 if I was terminated.

Jim Palmer is owned by someone else now.... one of the big fleets, prime or us express...maybe England I can’t remember. Anyway if you have any questions about TMC feel free to ask I’ll give it to ya straight.

I know Alabama is in the hiring area. The do training in Gaston SC and Des Moines IA. It’s worth a call if your interested. Just to see if you’re state is eligible.

CDLA is 3 weeks you are provided lodging and 3 squares a day except Saturday and Sunday. You pay $150 to go to class but they give you that back in 50$ increments to buy food for the meals they don’t supply.

Then you hit the road with a trainer for 5 weeks to learn securement and maneuvering with a load. You get paid $500/week for this time.

Then you get assigned a truck where you are guaranteed $1000/week for your first 2 weeks. If you earn more they will pay more. Then it’s based on the revenue you earn to the truck. I’ll post a screenshot of my pay in a bit so you know I’m not bsing.

Well shit, my app won’t go back that far. Here’s like the last 6 weeks. And I was home every weekend for this period. The last 2 weeks freight was wierd and I only had 4 loads.



To show you the training pay I would have to pull my stubs off the web site and it will have all my personal info. I’m not comfortable sharing my social security number and address on the web. Sorry.

This year, providing freight don’t fall off I should make more than I did my last year at Freightliner as assistant shop manager.

Only question I have is my rotar cuffs are weak I can carry heavy stuff lumber etc it's just they are weak should I be worried

I don’t think you’ll have any concerns as long as you can lift 75# and pass a range of motion test.
