Have you ever been attacked before ?

Big situations never park somewhere abandoned always park in lighted areas at truck stops

I disagree a little there, if I can't reach a place I know would be a safe place, I've always preferred the to park up in places that are remote from where a lot of other trucks/people would go, because the "bad guys" have a tendancy to flock where there's a lot of "prey". This has worked for me anyway ;)

If you heard of mikes law a driver was killed and they burned his truck because the factory wouldnt let him in to deliver so he had to go to an abandoned lot and thats what happened

Not to mention, it's a lot quieter.

Try "LOCKING Fuel Caps" or an Anti Siphon Device mounted in the tank

Not 100% foolproof but it will stop the AVERAGE THEIF who will likely Move On to Another truck with standard caps

Also do you have a FIRE EXTINGUISHER ...not exactly DEADLY FORCE but incapacitating enough that you can get away or call for help

Keep your TIRE BAT handy as well
As a retired Assistant Chief Fire Extinguishers work well on fires and SLOWING your attacker, be careful with the type, if it is C0 it could freeze dry their lungs, ( I had a patient do that one time, discharged C0 extinguisher in his mouth, crystallized his lungs as was dead before he hit the deck)

Most, if not all, trucks have dry-chem extinguishers. I haven't seen any CO2 cans. I have seen a halon extinguisher, though. Don't even know if they're still legal.

Well, truckers if you ever known nurses or people from the med field you figure what they come across in there line of work. One minute they can be sweet and understanding and the next turn into TNT in moment notice.

Rash of purse snatchers
I knew a three hundred pound nurse. Now this gal loved her food and staff gave her lunch a wide birth of do not touch anything in that lunch bag. One night she came off of shift around midnight and was confronted by one of the purse snatchers in the parking lot. In her lunch bag she carried two huge thro of liquid fluids. As approach was made the purse snatcher got the lunch bag wrapped right up the side of the head. Knocked the guy out cold and she had to get him into the ER for some help! That how the man got caught messin with a woman lunch box.
Oh by the way I am only a hundred pounder but was quiet the show that night in that parking lot.

An ER nurse I dated for a while was also security. She worked the night shift. 6'1" and not an ounce of fat on her. She jogged 8 miles every day then rode a bike for I don't know how far.

If there was a runner out of the ER she went after them. She didn't have to catch them, just keep up with them and on her cell phone to the cops.

Why would they even bother chasing them? People have the right to refuse treatment.

Usually drug related. People tripping then freaking out. Or someone brought in for a forced urine sample the painful way and get away from the fat cop
