I've seen & swam in 'em both.

Y'aint missing anything. Just water going to the horizon.

And the water is always cold too. Even in San Diego.

If I never get to put my feet in the sand or do any wading in the water
or collect any sea shell and a jar of sand or take a few pictures, the way
I figure is it was never mint to happen for me. Who knows I think of life
as a adventure I might just pack that bag and head for the sea for some
discovery....Cause even this forum has been quite the adventure...You never
know who going to pop up on the screen with something interesting on there
minds.

Then you haven't swam in MY little piece of ocean. Right now the water temp off the coast is a balmy 74 F.

No such thing as fresh fish out here...Everything is shipped in by truck.
People out here have no idea of what fresh fish is suppose to taste like from the sea.
