The average price of a gallon of on-highway diesel had a decrease of five-tenths of a cent from last week to $2.426 per gallon for the week ending Monday, June 20. This marks the first decrease after 10 consecutive weeks of increases.

Diesel price averages went down in seven of 10 regions in the U.S., according to the Energy Information Administration. The largest average decrease was in the Lower Atlantic region, where prices at the pump fell by 1.4 cents per gallon. Prices were up five-tenths of a cent in the Central Atlantic region, the largest increase in the nation.
