I skimmed over this entire thread and I don't see a single photo of any chili. You all suck! I haven't had the opportunity to taste "THEE Best" bowl of chili yet, but hopefully there is a cook out there that I'll run into that will impress me.

Have you ever seen a photo of chili, taken by someone who is not a perfeshunal fertographer?

The pictures look terrible unless you have about 4000 watts of stage lights and use fancy camera settings and then probably even set a bowl of it next to your computer while you tweak the colors with Photoshop until they look accurate. If you use an ordinary point & shoot camera or a cell phone, you won't even be able to tell it apart from spaghetti sauce.

Fine. I'll cook up a batch of chili and snap a photo of it. Even disgusting looking dishes like chili can be made to look nice in a photo. Food art, here I come!
