As far as books on Lewis and Clarke, if you have a Kindle or a Kindle app you can download the complete journals of Lewis and Clarke free of charge. It's very dry reading, but interesting to get an idea of their day-to-day activities.

@Tazz nailed it. You need to open the pours in your skin up. Skin cells are constantly dying on you. Some, along with dirt, clog up the pours in your skin. And the dead skin has an odor. Some have it worse than others, but everyone has it.

We all have had situations where showers get missed. I try to not avoid any opportunity that I have. Too many times, I have been somewhere that I could take a shower, but decided I would do it later that day. Later that day, things go downhill, and you are stuck nowhere near a shower.

Just don't be one of those that wears the same clothes during all those missed shower days!

water jugs on the front floorboard. Find a secluded off ramp,
strip down to yer skivvies, and pour a few of them over yer head.

You can use cleansing foam if no wash facilities available. No rinsing required. Its what the hospitals use to bath bedridden patients and its not stone cold!

I now judge showers by weather they left me peppermint candies. ..

If I got my few candies why I leave em a few bucks..

Thats said though sometimes it was a really nice clean shower and no candy..

Othertimes it was a "scuzzy" rathole though they left me peppermints with my compilentary soap n rag..

That said I started wondering if by leaving afew bucks was I "subsidizing" FAILURE
