Do you find the quality of truck drivers on the road to be decreasing?

A small amount of dish soap on the squeegee. No home remedy potions,...

But the first time you have a bottle of dish soap leak all over the place in the side box you'll go back to hopping up on the tire & using elbow grease. :toothpick:
If you secure your gear it will not leak. Good grief Francis:toothpick:

why was i hoping he 'd fall down and break his ass..???
Because you're evil.
Or do they expect to to wear a full body harness & hang from one of the OSHA certified overhead hoists they have at every fuel island? :toothpick:
that would be doable, when did they start doing this..?? we have onsite fueling now, so i rarely stop anymore at a truckstop, but i do stop at a gas/diesel station for my coffee, and hot dogs.

and if you slip seat..

Nah I just have everything in totes.View attachment 35293tools and cleaning supplies. Takes 5 seconds at the end of the week to put them in my truck ;)
So you're saying, that in the time it takes to read this post, you can take all that junk out if your pickup and put it away inside the truck?

Liar.

I bet it takes AT LEAST 20 seconds.

That comes from Titan after seeing the three workman's comp payouts for idiots that climbed on their tires. Now it is a termination offense to be caught doing that.

Pretty sure Walmart is the same but we do not wash our windshields here we have people for that.
That's the kind of bullshit micromanagement that I don't tolerate.

I have a strictly enforced zero tolerance policy for bullshit.

Most companies would prefer not to. However after a few grand gets awarded to the yak off who does not understand the difference between a tire and a ladder they have to.

I voted we fire them for their clumsy demeanor. I was told by state law we could not :(

Only ppl that should climb on trks should be mechanics and I'll just bet most trucking companies have a policy against drivers doing that too.

Here at Peckerwood Express part of the pre-trip is knocking the truck out of gear on a slight incline and log-walking the steer for a 360 degree inspection...
while washing the w/s and installing new wiper blades.
:)

If the truck starts off-tracking you have to hop on the frame rail and kick the crap out of the steer to correct your course.

You're a steering wheel holder too? o_O

No, it's not a ladder. It's a platform for standing on while changing wiper blades and topping off coolant.

Sounds like an intervention is in order...
these prinks apparently don't know what a clean w/s looks like so we'll have to send Jones.
[He does windows as a sideline.]
:)

Any asswipe that calls up lookin' fer a bulb changin', windshield washin' PO that includes labor is gonna be doin' a lotta walkin'... 'cause there's someone else gonna' be drivin' his truck.

@Duck take notes

No excuses. Quit being a lazy steering wheel holder.

And bugs don't wash off with the long handle things. You gotta get up on the tire & grab the handle just below the head and put some ass into it.

Geez,.... I bet your windshield is as bad as @Sinister's.

Shaddap...I've actually been cleaning mine off lately. Climbing up and everything...especially since I can't just whip in and get the truck washed these days. Bugs have been pretty bad in the upper midwest this summer. I think it's all the rain. Plus, looking through that many bugs adds to fatigue. Seems like, anyway.
