Do you find the quality of truck drivers on the road to be decreasing?

Wrong. :harumph:

What else are you supposed to stand on when changing wiper blades? The greasy frame rail? The flimsy fiberglass bumper edge? o_O

Or do they expect to to wear a full body harness & hang from one of the OSHA certified overhead hoists they have at every fuel island? :toothpick:

When did this industry become so enpansified we're afraid to climb up on a steer tire?
There ya go,get yourself a harness.

It was actually safer 20 years or so ago, the fuel islands almost always had ladders due to the high amount of cabovers.

Not sure if this will show for everyone, but it is some great Swift on Swift crime, and totally on topic :)

Yeah but the mirror bracket makes the perfect handle. And some trucks have a steel tube that supports the top of the grille & they make good handles.

I've been doing that since I was ten. ;)
I don't care if you've been doing this since 5 there's always a first time. One day you'll use the mirrors for support it'll brake way and you go flying.Don't say I didn't warn you.

that would be doable, when did they start doing this..?? we have onsite fueling now, so i rarely stop anymore at a truckstop, but i do stop at a gas/diesel station for my coffee, and hot dogs.

Stop being all WalMart on us, steer tires have made for excellent ladders for decades. Just use quality steer tires and there is no chance of falling off!
That comes from Titan after seeing the three workman's comp payouts for idiots that climbed on their tires. Now it is a termination offense to be caught doing that.

Pretty sure Walmart is the same but we do not wash our windshields here we have people for that.
