. then there's another question will they still be free
might be free over the air if you have a roof top antenna, and they continue to broadcast that way. otherwise, it might be a bundled package from your FiOS or cable or satellite provider..there's been talk about the locals converting to 4k. it will be interesting to see when this is going to happen i won't hold my breath though. then there's another question will they still be free

i was talking about the people that get the locals through an antenna. i know that a new converter box will be needed to receive em. looking at this new box for the 4k ota it looks like you'll be able to make an account up for what ever i don't know. but it has alot of people wondering if ota will still be free. i know my cable provider has had some 4k content wich is mostly footballmight be free over the air if you have a roof top antenna, and they continue to broadcast that way. otherwise, it might be a bundled package from your FiOS or cable or satellite provider..
yeah, i'm gonna stay away from any more new tv purchases. until more movies and tv shows come as 4K, i think it's a useless purchase for the small amount that are broadcasting now. then too, like those REALLY expensive tv's of years ago, ( i cannot remember if that was LED, LCD, or plasma, people were paying up to $10,000 for one, BS to that nonsense) )...........the prices of the 4 k's will drop drastically, in the not too distant future.i was talking about the people that get the locals through an antenna. i know that a new converter box will be needed to receive em. looking at this new box for the 4k ota it looks like you'll be able to make an account up for what ever i don't know. but it has alot of people wondering if ota will still be free. i know my cable provider has had some 4k content wich is mostly footballas well as the freaking nasa channel as well as a few others

. you can get 4k t'v's at wally world really cheap around christmas but to be honest about the LED t'v's there ok but OLED's are the way to go. the picture is amazing. one thing about 4k t'v's is that they upscale everything to NEAR 4k. i bought a plasma it was the worst purchased i ever made lol i didn't even get 3 years of use out of it and for 3 grand lolwe had a 70 inch sharp aquos in the living room it has the smart features on it but we just never used em as i could never figure out how cutting the cord is cheaper than a cable sub. 70 a month for internets and another 40-70 a month for live tv. yea theres netflix and amazon prime but theres nothing on there that i likeI'll get a new TV when mine croaks. It's a Sharp Aquos from the days when a 40" 1080p 60Hz without smarts cost $800. So it's kinda old. But it works so it's fine.
Yeah I have an antenna. Doesn't get much but it's enough. My goal isn't to spend my life on the couch anyway. It's background noise and a little unwind entertainment.we had a 70 inch sharp aquos in the living room it has the smart features on it but we just never used em as i could never figure out how cutting the cord is cheaper than a cable sub. 70 a month for internets and another 40-70 a month for live tv. yea theres netflix and amazon prime but theres nothing on there that i like

i still have a rooftop antenna for all 3 kitchen tv's. i get all the local stations, even those extra channels like METV, and a few others.Yeah I have an antenna. Doesn't get much but it's enough. i do not watch sports except for football on NBC, CBS, or Fox...I spend most of my time on Netflix when I am not watching the local 24 hr news station ( I am a news junkie) or I am watching Baseball.
I could cut this if the MLB subscription was not so expensive!
Is it at all ironic that the NE Patriots are called the NE patriots?i do not watch sports except for football on NBC, CBS, or Fox...
but my provider still charges me for the N.E. sports network channels....
i cannot get out of it either. it's like about $7.00 per month extra.
if the Pats are on NESN just once, and i watch them, ZAP, they tell me i watch that channel...they keep a "log" of what we watch.....i know mine does......
what else would they be called..??Is it at all ironic that the NE Patriots are called the NE patriots?
