Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are noticing an increase in collisions involving transport trucks, with 2022 recording the highest number in more than a decade.

Kind of odd, because in an E-Mail exchange with former transportation minister Steven Del Duca I had said the roads had become very unsafe.
He declared, the roads have never been safer.
Is it possible that a politician lied? Or is it even more possible that that had no clue on the file they were responsible for?

Flash forward and we have cabinet minister Caroline Mulroney in charge of provincial transportation.
You probably won't get a reply but, if you do, It will read, I look after my riding first, transportation comes second.

EXCUSE ME? You are a cabinet minister. You were put in charge of transportation after being elected. Somebody thought you could handle more than one thing at a time.
Clearly that is not the case, and you should step down as cabinet minister or MPP or it would be great if you did both.

There are so many issues here at play, from training to testing, to licensing.

It has become problematic and only now are people realizing what lack of oversight would manifest.

It will take decades to repair the damage that has been done by incompetent politicians and corruption at newly privatized licensing centers.

I've never even looked at TTR. When I first found this place, it was a simple Google search of truckers forums and this one was at the top of the list. I lurked, found it to be funny and at the same time informative and just stayed around.

Now it's like a cancer, it just grows on you!
