I been mixing one can of hot chili with one can of brown beans for years, that’s good eating!!
One lonely can of manwich sitting there staring at me. One can of chili.
Nothing to lose, here go!!

And....not a winner :stare1:

You are a disaster in the kitchen!
There's substitution for some stuff but that is really yucky! :rolllaugh:
It was winter, I didn’t want to walk to the store for milk, but was making a double batch of shepherds pie.

Took like two bottles of ketchup and four bottles of hot sauce to eat 8 pounds of shepherds pie with egg nog mashed potatoes :stare1:

Live and learn :biggrin-2:

I'll say you did. At least you're not afraid to try new things.
What’s your background?

I grew up eating a lot of foods that were German or Polish, that type of European. I didn’t really know that was a thing until I was older.

It’s funny, there’s not really much that’s Canadian for food. There’s a few things, a lot of desserts, but not too much that’s Canada only. Well some Quebec things and a lot of Maritime dishes, but that’s not universally Canadian

I love Manwich when it's made with hamburger and on a bun. Not sure about that chilli thing! LOL
Mix ketchup and BBQ sauce 50/50, then tweak the balance from their to your liking. That's pretty much what sloppy joe sauce is. But you can tweak it until you get it perfect and it's better than Manwich.

I discovered it pretty much the same way Outlaw discovered it doesn't mix well with chili. 😅

Not just those cheap buns in a bag for 99cents..

Kaiser Rolls full crust so the junk dont distentegrate it..

Same with Illallians want Bomber Buns not cheap hotdog buns

Unless ya use a knife n fork then I guess the 99cent junk is okay

Homemade Mac n cheese I like if the person knows how to make a good cheesy rue for it.

Kraft can be good, got kind of burnt out on it. Chef boyardee makes a good canned Mac n cheese.

Never put tomatoes in it but sausage and roasted red pepper is good.
Cook a bunch of pasta, a pound or two of ground beef, two cans of crushed tomatoes and as much Cheez Whiz as necessary

Onion, garlic, other spices as you wish

Cheap, quick, easy, kids love it
