I noticed that in all of his 8 posts. He joins yesterday at 2:30 in the afternoon while sitting bored in the truck stop and comes on like super trucker. I figure he'll be here for a few days and then disappear.
Yep, it’s now so much whether you can get down the grade ok, it’s are you planned to deal with an issue that might pop up around a curve.
Need to be respecting any grade and keeping the brakes cool for the instance in which you might need them to stop the truck on that grade u expectedly.

Airport always seemed like forever if all you had was a 220, 250, 262, or a detuned Jimmy V8 (I think CFs were somewhere around 265 hp. . . maybe 265s). Heading south, the climb out of Truckee was at least interesting as there were some curves. Before the roadway was upgraded, it was really "interesting."
