Cashless Society Here We Come The "Digital" USA Dollar "Debut" In Pilot Program

Never let a crisis go to waste. Or a market crash for that matter.

With equity and bond markets stuck in brutal bear markets and providing a sufficient distraction to what is happening behind the scenes, the Fed and a group of banks have been quietly preparing for the next stage in the "organized crash" pipeline: the rollout of CBSC.

According to a statement by the New York Fed, global banking giants are starting a 12-week digital dollar pilot with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, the participants announced on Tuesday.

Citigroup, HSBC Holdings, Mastercard and Wells Fargo are among the financial companies participating in the experiment alongside the New York Fed, which will provide a "public contribution to the body of knowledge on the application of new technology to the regulated financial system."

Bank of New York Mellon, the money-laundering bank of the world, HSBC Holdings, PNC Financial Services, Toronto-Dominion Bank, Truist Financial and U.S. Bancorp are also participating in the test, along with payments network Mastercard.

The project, which is called the "regulated liability network", will allow banks to simulate issuing digital money representing their customers’ own funds before settling through central bank reserves on a distributed ledger, the New York Fed said.

The pilot will test how banks using digital dollar tokens in a common database can help speed up payments.

“Programmable US dollars may be necessary to support new business models and provide a foundation to much-needed innovations in financial settlements and infrastructure,” Tony McLaughlin, managing director for emerging payments and business development at Citigroup’s treasury and trade solutions division, said in a statement Tuesday. “Projects like this, that focus on the digitization of central bank money and individual bank deposits, could be expanded to take a broader view of the opportunity.”

Earlier this month, Michelle Neal, head of the New York Fed's market's group, said it sees promise in using a central bank digital dollar (CBDC) to speed up settlement time in currency markets.

For years, Wall Street’s biggest banks have explored the use of blockchain in their businesses for everything from interbank payments to mortgages and cross-border trades. Still, this week’s move comes amid a rout in cryptocurrency markets following the collapse of Sam Bankman-Fried’s digital-asset empire last week.

One day "they" will be able to just cut you off from any electronic transactions in a cashless society.
One day they will just ping into your electric car and it won't drive.

Better keep your social credit score in the positive by not posting things about what "they" will be able to do.

Ya know that Industry ain't going down easy with tons of Lobby Cash just look up Governor Scott Walker and Payday Loans in Google search..

Also the "Activists" are gonna cry "Racism" and "Demand" a Solution for Un-Banked

That's easy! Payday loan, check cashers issue a debit card or direct electronic payment for rent and bills.
Sure, drug dealers will take those cards but it will all be tracked. Every penny of it.

That's the idea.
Cut off cash and you cut off crime and tax cheats.

But if the regular economy completely collapsed you'd have no "black-market" or underground economy options either
The idea is not to collapse the legit economy, The idea is to get every tax dollar they can and by default the "black market" would be non-existent.

Oh wait, I see what you are saying.
They are not trying to collapse the legit economy, they just want control over those that do not comply with the powers that be.
If you rebel, protest or even post anti-government messages on social media, they would have they ability to cut your funds and starve you out until you are Politically Re-Educated

I think somebody even wrote about such a scenario in the Bible.

A life. The life of some poor computer reading counter person or a customer when there is no cash to gain.

People would barter & trade other things.

Ammunition, fuels, food, women, canning supplies, etc.
I barter with one of my rental customers all the time. He parks his boat at my storage lot and pays me in fish. It's a win, win for us both. I get dolphin, snapper, king fish, tuna and about anything else they reel in. I love fresh fish. Blackfin and Bluefin Tuna, don't taste or smell at all like that crap in the cans on the store shelves.

It's because people don't know how to make change anymore..

Since Internet age people lack "basic" math skills nowadays

the "cash registers" show them how much change to give back, once the person enters the amount taken in.

i think nearly all registers do that nowadays, Walmart, Giant, Piggly-Wiggly, Jiffy Lube, etc, etc.

They still can't count that out in "physical" Cash correctly so "Payment By Cards" Only solves that problem I guess

The screwels are too busy trying to make you think that you are some other sex than what you are born than to teach you basic life skills.

Just listening to them talk tells me they aren't taught language skills, they can't write, history is all racist, math is nonexistent, etc...

But they know how to play foobawl, baksketbawl and run from the police!

After the SLS launch last night, I changed the TV station, because I was now wide awake from being outside watching the launch. I landed on one of these late night shows that had the host interviewing some girl. This dude was lisping and flaming like Charles Nelson Riley, and the girl being interviewed said 'like' and 'ya know', every other word. She simply could not form an intelligible sentence. Needless to say, I changed that real quick, only to find other so-called professional broadcasters taking the same way.
