LOL!! Great question. When you're a family doc like you me you have a great grasp of all specialties anyway. However, when some orifices are hard to get to we need to call in the troops.

I was having tooth pain and my oral surgeon's office gave me a three page medical questionnaire, the last question of which asked about sexual history. I had to go up to the receptionist and ask for a few more pages to complete my answer but all she had was a spiral notebook so I used half of that.

The only time I have been tested is during my last 3 pregnancies. ( one turned into A misscariage). I have always been told that i need to wait 6-12 weeks after i have delivered to be tested again. Some doctors told me That the protein s defeciancy is only Caused by my being pregnant. Others have Said i inherited it. By The Time i Was able To be tested i had lost my insurance. The test is like $600. Thats a lot out of pocket.

We put our heads together, using all our skill and knowledge, and decided that the best course for you is to avoid becoming pregnant. In fact, for safety sake, we recommend that you give up sex altogether. Or..... you could switch to gay sex. Yes, that might be the best answer.

That is alot!! You know, Laboratories like LMC, Quest and Labcorp in my neck of the woods offer pretty decent cash discounts. You may want to try calling up your home laboratories and ask what the cash discount price is. It may be a decent discount.

If this is more than something that occurs only when i am pregnant it is dangerous untreated. The fact that i havw Developed blood clots in the past shows this

Don't take this the wrong way, but are you sure the trucking profession is right for you? If you're prone to blood clots, doctors usually discourage long distance driving or traveling unless properly anticoagulated. This country needs our truckers, but we also don't want you putting your life at risk.
