Anyone get a Covid test.

No.

I've felt like crap twice in the last few months, once while working. Once at home.

So what the hell am I supposed to do while on the road?

Call someone from wherever I am, come to a stop, then what?

Get a test in East Bumbleass and be quarantined there rather than at home.

Thanks anyway.

One time I felt like ass at home. So I looked into getting a test. Figured "Hell I'll take two weeks off."
My county tests once a week for five hours, and an appointment was needed.

So that didn't work either.

So it's not the whiz bang "just get tested" thing they make it out to be.

Not for drivers anyway.

OHHHHH MY GOOOD HOW COULD YOU??!! YOURE JUST A SELFISH ASS....

Shut up. Just...shut. up.

This was all like ten months into the "pandemic" so at that point anyone wanting to live in fear is going to do so.

Mandating everyone act a certain way is unacceptable tyranny and anyone who thinks otherwise is a useful idiot by definition.
Remember being at a customer and terrified of coughing?

Like you'd be instantly tossed in a bubble and your truck surrounded, taped off, fumigated, and confiscated. All because you're trying to knock a peanut loose.

I wore my mask at Aldi tonight. It's all gross and dirty. I think it has grease on it from me grabbing it. Definitely some pocket lint and trail mix dust on there. And whatever that dirt is that gets kicked around and lands on everything in my cab. Maybe old corn from like 1992 getting knocked around.

I kinda get a kick out of the looks I get. I'm compliant wtf else you want.
I wear them because the stores require it but I take them off if I see other people without them.

I have a bunch of black cloth Hanes masks.

I usually wash them by hand in the bathroom sink with dish soap and put them on a radiator to dry.

I used bleach on one. It turned it orange. It's like black and orange streaks.

First time I delivered to USPS I forgot my mask and they were hardcore about it, so I used my underwear.

Not the underwear I was currently wearing. The spare.

The filthy mask in question is one of those disposable ones. I've had it since I was with Schneider and P&G gave them out.

I didn't wear mine when I went into the gas station yesterday. a homely looking woman blurted out "you really should be wearing a mask like me" . I just looked at her and calmly said "if I looked like you a mask should be mandatory !" I actually got an applause from a couple customers. but anyhoo, I will not take a shot. I just don't believe all the hype.

I had some bad chipotle once that gave me the troits.

I was standing in line at a Walmart last spring.

Just as all the God forsaken vegetation was coming into bloom.

I sniffles and coughed a few times. This was before all the mask bullshit kicked into high gear.

The fat black woman in front of me turned around and glared death rays at me every time. Every. Time.

I was actually holding allergy pulls in my hand. "Calm the fuck down. It's allergy season!" I said.

To her credit she didn't back down and just kept glaring at me. Until I shook the box with the bottle of allergy pills. She saw it, focused on it, blinked a few times and turned around to face forward again.

Then a couple self checkouts opened up and we went our separate ways.

Then I realized I was wearing a Walmart drivers uniform. And was again reminded that it's very possible the word "fuck" takes up a little too much space in my vocabulary.

Someday I'll probably get fired from this place.

And allergy season is coming again.

I'll probably die sneezing with a lawnmower blade in my forehead and they'll still call it Covid.

I caught myself cussing a few times last time I saw my uncle John.

He's a Baptist minister. 😳
