32" Computer screen..

I recently bought some furniture over the holidays, and in the lot I bought was a "new" 32" Flat screen TV....We hooked it up to the cable and man the picture really sucked!

I now have a 32" computer screen! :woohoo:

BTW: picture is really clear on the computer..weird it works fine for monitor but not as a TV

We have one... I read your post to hubby, he wanted me to ask you...Did you use componet video input to hook it up or just the coaxle? It makes a difference on the picture... Ours has an AWSUM picture..

We just had coax hooked up....it has a very clear picture on the other TV this way..

Ummmm, lol don't give me a fix for it I LOVE my big computer screen! I'm just kidding...if there is another way to hook it up I will try it again.

No, I have no cable box just magicly comes through the wall from a cable jack and screws into the TV.

How many watts does that flat screen use?

The least wattage I have heard they use is 96-100 watts for a 32", it goes up to 500 + watts the bigger they get. That's 3 times the electricity of a regular tv. :spend:

Many people fail to ask this question. A regular TV uses about 24-32 watts.

No one tells us about the extra electricity the flat screen uses. But news does talk about brown outs and blackouts. I find this pathetic. :sad:

whats cable we use old fashion antenna. we have 19 inch flat screen that runs off a 100 watt invertor when not hookd up to idleaire.

Way too much population for me.

We have a very small gas station/store (two gas pumps, and they are very old) and we have a state park at the curve in the highway. Nothing else for 15 miles either way
