Some people enjoy it as a hobby. Some like the idea of eating fresh vegetables right outta their own backyard.

I got an idea.

Sell your 600 year old house to some historical society (tell 'em George Washington slept there, or if they're democrats, tell them Benedict Arnold slept there) and move to some place where homeless people don't steal vegetables to trade for drugs.

But then, you need a place to live and you'll have to spend big $$$$$ for a house. Rent is even higher than a mortgage.

Dude a few doors away is renting and he thinks he's getting a deal. He pays $2000/mo + utilities for 1500 squares. I pay half that for double the size of the house and lot.

I'm probably gonna end up living in some kind of Unabomber shack in the middle of nowhere when I'm old.

I'll just save up old rusty pieces of corrugated steel and tie them all together with homemade rope, using tree branches for the frame like they do in third world countries.
