Batteries are carried in racks on both sides of the truck frame.

Volvo displayed one of the batteries for the battery-electric VNR along with a quick-charge station.

Got any performance specs we can laugh at? The article doesn't mention any.

That's gotta be weird driving a totally quiet truck though. No gears to go through, I bet it actually keeps up with traffic when the light turns green. At least until the battery is dead.

Most probably they should have already thought about that all and if something new will come up they will fix it :headscratch2::shift:

The time and technologies are changing, lets hope they have used the most recent technology to build up the equipment.
Elon Musk thought so too, and his cars self crash and self ignite....

i would not trust a battery pack that large under me. (or behind me)

I don't know what effect they are going for with that paint job, but I like it.

We cannot generalize based on such examples like Cyber Truck!!, if that is the case apple should have not grown that big. Apple's almost gadgets run on the battery.

actually, i wasn't even referring to the the cyber truck, just yet.....i was talking about his failure of an automobile..i'm sure his truck will self crash and self explode into fire, soon enough.

I don't think Musk thought so. He's a con man. He just lies to get investors and pays himself a huge salary.

Says you. He puts a lot of money into my pocket with his SpaceX company. When people finally get wise to the money that NASA pisses away, they'll look to people like Musk. He's a very nice person and is genuine in a lot of ways. I've had the pleasure of talking with him a few times.

I take it that you don't remember what happened with the automobile a hundred or so years ago. It's all trial and error. Nothing comes already perfect.

Con men generally do seem nice and genuine. That's why the con works. Every thing he has promised has been a lie. It is never released when he says it will be and never holds up to the specs he claims it will. That's the con.

hell man...i was telling good ole Henry what he needed to do....like paint all the cars black, so you could have any color you wanted........as long as it was black.

I'm not that old. Cars were already invented by the time I was born. They even had air conditioning, power steering and 8 track players.

Maybe @GAnthony remembers though. He was in his 30's when the Titanic sank.
