When I started the forum, my username was "Bullwinkle". That was the CB handle I defaulted into. My original? Ice Cream man.

What was/is yours?

I think I need a new CB handle... Or maybe just go back to the old one!

Because of my truck, drivers call me "Red Wolf" when trying to contact me on the CB, so that's the handle I stick with.

My first handle was coffin cheater because, as I've always said, I shoulda been dead a dozen times.
But mainly because it was the name of a MC in Australia who was suppose to have been banned from Perth while we were there on a WESTPAC because they hated yanks. I thought it was super cool at the time but I'd really appreciate it if we kept it just between us now...
I got enough problems without having a geriatric Aussie bike club showing up to avenge a 40 year-old (alleged) insult.
:stare1:

The next handle was Roundabout.
Dual purpose from the song by Yes [bite me @Duck , & @Sinister] and the function of a railroad apparatus that would spin a train engine 180 degrees to point it back to where it came from.

Blood just developed from a bastardized abbreviation [STFU @Tazz  ] of my last name which was too long to post repeatedly whilst calling me several other names.
;)

Back in the 70s I went by lil rebel, then everyone decided they would go by rebel. So, when I started hauling farm equipment I went by T. H., as in tractor hauler. Then when my oldest grandson was little he couldn't say grampa, what came out was pooh pa. Another driver was at the house and heard that so he started calling me that on the radio and eventually pooh is what stuck.

I'm a new guy so don't have a CB yet, but was told that I need one for calling the guard shack once in awhile to drop off.
I figure I'll just go with "Bored Insane", that's the state of my mind most of the time anyways.

Just stop by a reputable cb shop and by a normal cb. They can make sure it is all tuned up and such. If they try and sell you stackable pills and 150 dollar antennas you at a bad shop! Go somewhere else.

With the nuts on the cb it is not worth a big investment in a radio. 100 bucks or less;)
