Yet more random thoughts... put 'em here

I do these at home quite a bit now, everyone prefers them, and so do I.

Not sure if I am explaining it right, but the burgers cook super fast, they maintain the awesomely greasy (or juicy if you prefer), while allowing for more of the grilled texture.

I don't go super flat on mine, but pretty flat, and always make them into double meat and double cheese. Lightly butter and grill the buns, and everyone ends up fat and happy after eating!

1/4 pound per patty for smaller, normal size buns. If you get larger buns, 1/3 pound patties fill them out great.

Pro tip: use some butcher or parchment paper between the spatula and the meat when smashing. Otherwise you tend to fight the hamburger meat wanting to lift off the griddle with the spatula.

Was going to make spaghetti tonight, now I am starting to change my mind.....
We started pressing a real thin patty of hamburger onto a flour tortilla meat side down and don’t flip it till it’s completely cooked then add a slice of cheese of your choice and then fold it in half.TaDa

I see the dog in the background.

Maybe you can help settle a debate I've got going with Sarah:

Does a German shepherd bark in German or in English? 🤔
Mine is half Belgian Malinois so the language is different every time. I struggle to keep up.

Belgium is right next to Germany. So it's probably the European version of Spanglish. 🤔

Mine just growls. He has a brain the size of a walnut. The rest of the space inside his skull is just solid bone.

This asshole is a chihuahua mix. Was supposed to be a purse dog ended up almost 30 lbs instead. He will eat any vegetables not nailed down and has zero cold tolerance. Maybe there's something to these theories. 161028c2-f52c-4b35-82a3-138b5839b21d.webp

My dog growls at me ALL THE TIME and shows his fangs, bites, etc

According to what I've learned from a Facebook group for his breed, that's perfectly normal behavior. 🤯

His growling is very unique due to breathing issues he's had since the lithium battery fire a couple years ago.

When he inhales while growling, he snorts like a pig.

I've been thinking about making a video.
It'll be me playing rough with the dog and putting pressure on the front of his neck and squeezing his upper torso while he's growling, but I'll only use the audio.

The video will just be me and a couple of friends walking through the woods at night with flashlights and shotguns, trying to figure out what type of feral beast is making these noises.

"We don't know WTF it is but we need to make sure the women and children in the nearby towns are safe"
:biglaugh:

Then when we find this creature, it's some kind of hideous 3 headed monster, done with "Monty Python" style special effects, like it's a drawing on a piece of cardboard someone is standing behind & holding, making it move... Or a dog wearing a costume

@mndriver I saw this a while back and figured with your engineering degree you'd like this, if you aren't already familiar with it.

It's about incredibly complex mechanical engineering from centuries ago.

This is the most fascinating part of the video.

The entire 1 hour documentary it's from:
