Why?????

Thanks Southern Fried for the answer...Just thought I ask since you got all those years of driving experience and have most probably seen it all at one time or another...I tend to take advice from the ones that are old school if you know what I mean....I have been to Mexico many years ago and know about the cess-pool of the life styles there...Just thought you might know how a truck could get across a border with no license plate is all and most probably no paper work either. Sure cannot be legal for sure....as I seen one of these down in Texas a while back...

I'd imagine the plate fell off after the truck came across. The trucks that do the cross-border trailer moves frequently are a bucket of bolts missing bolts and a lot of the nuts.

Know you are probably right about this...I was in the San Angelo area at the time...When the truck pulled around me to pass I noticed the tires were wore down and the box style trailer had no numbers on it and no company name on it...Neither did the truck....but when the driver pulled in front of me he almost clipped the front of my auto...This is how I noticed it had no plate either....This is what made me think it came out of Mexico...Del Rio is not that far from San Angelo either. Still wondering why people like this are allowed on the Hwy's of this country.
Yet The drivers of this country a held accountable for everything from a-z.

You really don't know??

Politics.

Crooked politics. Corruption, etc.

You know Duck I had a relative call by phone from Nebraska the other day to check about how I was getting along. And in that conversation was told that seventy five Mexican non citizens obtained driver license and could not read or write the English language. JMO but corruption is running like a bad disease thru our country. You totally right...I do not know a whole lot about politics...

Was suffering from borden and being alone so I packed that bag and took off to Texas to visit my oldest grandson while I was there playing in Texas...Decided since never been to one of these events took one of theses in and enjoyed it so much think I just do it again.

Lets not forget the automobile. Now if something brakes on it you have to take it in to get it fixed and the cost can be more then an entire new car that was sold yrs ago before all this computer crap.My dads window in the back came off its track do you think I could fix it,hell no I have to take it in because I don't have that tool for the screws to take the panel off.
you might be able to buy that tool but than again how often would you use it:confused-96:

the only thing people care about today is how cheap something is and getting the item they want at the lowest possible price!!! we had our dishwasher go out and we had the repair man come out and give us an estimate on how much it would cost to fix it. well it was the mother board of all things and the repair was near $500 to fix it:eek: half the cost of the machine:stare1:

My brother fixed it two weeks ago.
unless i can see the screws you speak of, i'm going to go on a thought, that those particular screws are Torx screws. a Torx screw driver bit set can be bought cheap at Lowes or Home Depot or even a hardware store. these screws are even in some home appliance's as well. not too expensive.
