Sitting here at Bar S drop n hook back haul to Terrell tx hook up to loaded trailer f---ing air valve on trailer is junk big air leak plus who ever dropped the trailer here burned up the brakes won't have parts till morning so I am wide awake just came of my 10 192 miles ago in dodge city and ain't s--t going on in elk city on a Thursday night.

Actually, that's one of the reasons I wound up here. Pre-Katrina, this place was a whole lot like up home. After Katrina....not so much. Got a ground zero eyeful of the race-baiting that goes on with the Lefty Libs down here almost constantly. From experience I already had a dim view of Libs from Canada, but the pure Hatred down here is ridiculous... worse than Quebec in the bad days.
But the "Cajuns" here are tres cool. Damn good folks. Frankly I credit the fiddles and washboards. Ya can't hate to fiddle and washboard music... ya just gotta dance. Troy Landry is a whole lot more real than folks realize.

And the "x" at the end of family names in Louisiana comes from the folks who moved to the area and were unable to read and write. As they signed their immigration paperwork, the last name was written by the guv'mint agent and the individual's "mark" (an X) was applied as a signature.

Huh..Americold hasn't changed much. They were like that nationwide when I ran for Prime. Americold Ontario, OR is slow, also.Sitting here at americold in Dallas I pray they never give me this backhand again sitting here since midnight at least I have gotten back in to get loaded but who the hell knows when they will get me loaded! Well I am home I wanted to do nothing but lay around and yet all I am doing is running around spending money, so I will return to my truck tomorrow instead of Monday to get some rest and watch the Daytona 500 in peace plus I will save money. I am thinking of changing and going on the national account hell I stay out 4 weeks now as it is and could make more money, just thinking? Oh this 62 mph........ugh! SUCKS! At 62 my truck averages 6.3 mpg not saving a damn thing. But than again anyone can do 75 it takes a real trucker to do 62

I was on a dedicated account with Crete years ago and it was a sweet deal. Same rates as national and spoon fed long miles. Chino to NJ, Chino to GA, OH to El Paso, Ill to Cali...
It was great..... til they cut the pay by .04 and .06! if you were on the waiting list. Plus they cut the $1,000 quarterly mileage bonus to $400.
I could almost live with the pay cut, but that bonus cut was just too much for me.
Went back to the national board......always made good money on it.
You guys still get a choice of loads?

From what I understand no forced loads, national just got an increase in pay and I believe it was.04 cpm, some are making .51 cpm, I was just thinking out loud, on this Walmart dedicated I take home from 800 to a 1000 a week at .39 cpm plus 150 bonus and drop pay I hear they are going to raise it to .42 cpm I usually run anywhere from 2200 to 2800 it's laid back time to go to the gym. Hell never mine I am staying put. Lol!

Sitting here at the house got a load to Dallas with a back haul decided to go to the house than try and drive through the snow n ice because a couple of days ago my granddaughter who is 8 was born on my birthday called me crying that she missed me she almost had me in tears so I surprised her by showing up at home she jumped up into my arms and wouldn't let go, she' my princess anyways I will head back to pauls valley tomorrow when all this ice melts. Everyone be safe out there.

Sitting in okc, waiting to get my drivers window replaced. Left yesterday for Roswell NM. Got 15 or so miles away a truck blows by me opposite direction 2 lane hwy my window blows up in my face glass all f...ing over me cut my face had to turn around back to the DC gave up load, a great week gone bad for miles, but I am glad the window was up other wise whatever hit the window my have hit me in the head and than we are talking about a lot worse situation. Oh by the way did I say it scared the sh.., out of me!

He was moving pretty fast of course anything over 62 is fast to me.
It comes in waves!I lost a 3100 mile week and ended up with 1600 because of that bastard!Last couple weeks have been tough anything that could go wrong did hopefully I have gotten through this stretch and all is wee this week.
