Nobody want to "part" with their "Junk" so they go rent a storage unit store what they already got and pack down the Basement and Garage with "New Junk"

I have RV's stored at my place that haven't moved in 5 years. What these people are paying in rent every month is more than their property is worth. I don't really care. I consider it all a donation to Johnny's Retirement Account.

There's bank to be made in storage units sense people don't want to declutter and downsize.. and it's easier to evict em if they don't pay vs if there renting a house condo or apt... they can cause less damage if there evicted vs the others

Miami is near the top when it comes to where the big bucks live. The question is, where are they going to put them? Miami-Dade County is built out. Broward County to the north is/was like 90% built out when I left in 2016. Just about the only land left in south Florida is all protected National Park. Without the Everglades, there would be no water to drink.

This dickhead is only the mayor of one city. New York is a massive state considering where it is and aside of Manhattan is a beautiful state. Plenty of places for the city dwellers to get out and breathe fresh air. We don't want them here and neither does Texas.

Texas and Florida need to quickly enact a total abortion ban, making it a felony, and throwing a wall of red tape in state welfare programs.

That'll serve as roach repellant and keep the fleeing NYC vermin from spreading their infestations in those states.

its sickening to see...perfectly excellent factories up here, being turned in storage places...either that, or new ones popping up as well.

some say its to handle the demand of storage for people becoming homeless, and have that need to put things there.

i dunno, they are here at least, tall buildings that frankly just look ugly.

better to build condos, or apartments to ease the housing shortages, as the home sales too are not keeping up with demands, and this is all over the country, not just "packed like sardines" here in the east.

Once every afew years or so when I got time go through my stuff throw old crap away..

Where I live the Sanitation Dept gives ya 2 free "special pickups" per year ya call em throw it all on the curb..

Apartments even in the crack-ghetto neigborhood around here go a grand a month now ..

Nicer building better neighborhood try $1500/$2000 a month for rent nowadays.

Car Payments nowadays are more than my first mortgage 30 years ago

The young people today have no hope of ever saving up enough make a "down-payment" on a house Unless they make 6 digits per year
