I showered and got my Laundry Done too therefore I won't "Stink" anymore atleast for afew days now..

I got Pizza. For some reason they put sausage on my pizza. I didn't notice until a while after I got home, so there is no going back.

Pepcid A/C was always my best Road "Buddy"..

If that don't do the trick chug a half bottle of Mylanta just pretend it's a bottle and the whole bar is watching ya slam shots

Too be fair @Rigjockey as I've aged I now pop the Dollar General Brand "Omeprazole" everyday..

And don't sell em short Walgreens and WalMart brand still leave me with HEARTBURN..

DOLLAR GENERAL half the price and Gets The Job "Done" atleast for me..

i cannot use OTC meds in place of my prescriptions. they simply do not work for me.

What works for some doesn't necessarily work for others..

Ya do whatever works for you as an individual..

I only shared mere advice based upon my personal expiriences

It's like 15 bucks for a box of 48 at Walmart.

They work for me as long as I remember to take one every day. Sometimes I double up if I go on an all night "bender" out in my "drinking shed".

How much is that DG stuff?

WalMart brand just doesn't do it 4 me neither does Walgreens either..

I swear 2 gosh the Dollar General Store and I got no Heartburn..

One slight problem with taking an ant-acid. I take medication at night and taking an ant-acid with medication makes the medication ineffective. So that is a No Can Do.

But while we are on the topic of Acid-Reflux, Heartburn and medication....Nexium works pretty well.
The directions say take on pill per day for 14 days.
I learned from a doctor that you can actually take them as and when required.
They are a bit spendy but well worth the money.
If it is just minor acid stomach problems, I just take a few Tums.

Tums are GARBAGE..

Flat Broke better off going to the Dollar Tree box of Baking Soda..

that's funny, cuz i was on Nexium for a while, as a prescription, then the cost went up, so my doctor said get the OTC..

i was in agony, they did not work, and back to the prescribed stuff, with a co-pay back then.

Back before the commissars banned affordable health insurance, I was on Aciphex and it was 100% effective as long as I remembered to take it every day.

I don't get it. I'm just over 63 years old and I'm on "0" prescription drugs. (Although a little Viagra wouldn't be a bad thing) Even the thought of going to a Dr., other than a Down On Truckers, physical makes me want to hurl. It's all in your diet. The body will heal itself of all ails if you give it a chance.
